1. General Information

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Pistton's Driving School.

1.2 By enrolling in and/or taking driving lessons with Pistton's Driving School, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Students must hold atleast a valid learner’s permit or driving license to enroll in lessons.

2.2 Students must carry their learner’s permit or driving license during all lessons.

3. Booking and Payments

3.1 Lessons must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

3.2 Payments must be made in full at the time of booking.

3.3 We accept payments via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.

3.4 Packages and prepaid lessons must be used within 12 months from the date of purchase.

3.5 Package Deals: No refunds are given for package deals. Classes are provided subject to availability, and we will endeavor to accommodate students' preferred time slots.

3.6 Package deals require full payment at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

4.1 Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time.

4.2 If a lesson is canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a cancellation fee equal to the full lesson cost will apply.

4.3 Cancellation fees apply according to the packages mentioned.

4.4 Pistton's Driving School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances, such as instructor illness or vehicle issues. In such cases, we will reschedule the lesson at the earliest convenience.

5. Lesson Duration and Punctuality

5.1 Each lesson will last for the time specified at the time of booking.

5.2 If a student is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.

5.3 If an instructor is late, the lesson will be extended to cover the full lesson duration, or additional time will be added to a subsequent lesson. Lesson time cannot be altered while the lesson is live.

5.4 Session hours cannot be altered while undergoing the training.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Students must follow all instructions given by the instructor during lessons.

6.2 Students must wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothing for driving.

6.3 The use of mobile phones or other distracting devices is prohibited during lessons.

6.4 Pistton's Driving School reserves the right to terminate a lesson if the student is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances, or if the student's behavior is considered dangerous or inappropriate. No refund will be given in such cases.

6.5 Any traffic violations or offenses committed during the training are the responsibility of the student.

7. Vehicles

7.1 All vehicles used for lessons are fully insured and meet the required safety standards.

7.2 Students may use their own vehicle for lessons if it meets the required safety and insurance standards. Proof of insurance and roadworthiness must be provided.

7.3 Manual Car Training: An additional $50 per session applies for manual car training, subject to availability.

8. Liability

8.1 Pistton's Driving School and its instructors are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during lessons unless it is due to our negligence.

8.2 Students are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle, traffic violations, fines, or any third parties due to reckless or negligent driving.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

9.1 Pistton's Driving School collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

9.2 Personal information will only be used for the purposes of providing driving instruction and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Any complaints should be directed to Pistton's Driving School’s customer service.

10.2 We will investigate all complaints and aim to resolve them within 14 days.

11. Amendments

11.1 Pistton's Driving School reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to students in writing.

12. Governing Law

12.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
